Female Writers Added to Columbia University Library Above Aristotle and Plato

Maya Angelou, Zora Neale Hurston and Toni Morrison are among the women printed on a banner added above the names of male philosophers engraved into Columbia University's Butler Library. This art project follows the transgressive act of students 40 years at the school.
